On Wed 9th August 2006, three biker friends decided to start a new motorcycle club in West Cumbria, after discussing a few names two of them said the same name "KINDRED SPIRITS" this name said it all.
KINDRED SPIRITS MCC is all about people with like minds, who as well as trying to promote motorcycling also love riding thier bikes & enjoying the lifestyle that comes with it, i.e - rallies , rideouts , rock nights and the general togetherness that occurs with being part of a club.
KINDRED SPIRITS MCC are a NON-political, family orientated club with the emphasis on having FUN.
Members wear an embroidered club patch on their left hand side with a flash underneath distinguishing the difference between full members & associate/junior members.
full Membership is open to anyone who has a full motor bike licence & rides a bike or bike based trike and wants to be part of the club. Potential members and associates will have to be voted in by all voting members. Full members must produce bike licence on joining. We have now passed a year and have attended many events. Rallies, rock nights, festivals and many other things in the community.
Kindred Spirits MCC often appears in the local press, here are two examples from the 2007 easter egg run, click the thumbnails for a larger view
